Members of the Florida Senate District 38 Health Task Force represented Senate District 38 today at the Florida Capitol. The members attended the legislative chamber, met with Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, and attended an award dinner. Most significant for some members were the award ceremony held in the governor’s cabinet. Health Task Force Co-chair Dr. Katherine Ntekim states, “we are in Tallahassee advocating for the human trafficking and caregivers bills that we recently drafted and that was filed by Senator Daphne Campbell – speaking with the legislators about both bills were educational and productive.“ Dr. Ntekim appraised the task force members with a big kudos for their tireless effort as the bills go through the process.
