On Friday, July 28, 2017, Diplomat officials welcome Senator Daphne Campbell and her Senate District 38 Delegation in style on arrival to Port Au Prince airport in Haiti. Among the the Delegation were three prominent Florida-based healthcare executives, Daphne Campbell (Florida State Senator), Jennifer Leslie, CEO of Health Management Ventures, Inc., and Anna Pierre, Executive Director of APHEC International, Inc. (The People’s Clinic).
Delegate Jennifer Leslie said, “it was an honor for me to be received in Haiti as a “diplomat,” being part of the Senate District 38 Delegation for such an important trip. She continues by saying that she thanks the government officials and dignitaries for a warm and dignified welcome, and that as a humble community servant whose purpose in Haiti was to fulfill a medical and economic development mission, she does not take this type of hospitality lightly. Jennifer went on to say, “there are no words to express how warm, kind, thoughtful, respectful, and hospitable, the Senate District 38 Delegation was greeted from the time of entry to the airport, to the Diplomat office, and at the Diplomat Quarters and that the delegation will be forever grateful to Haiti.
