The Florida Senate District 38 Affordable Housing Task Force was in full effect on May 24, 2018, when it held its first affordable housing workshop. Senate District 38 Advisory Board Member Dr. Yinka Tella represented the Senator at the event. Committee members in attendance was Sholla Tella, Anna Pierre, Vice Chair of Florida Senate District 38 – Health Task Force, Marcelle Rouchon, the new Co-Chair of Florida Senate District 38 – Health Task Force, Eugenise Mompremier, Director of Community Outreach of Senate District 38 – Health Task Force, Charlotte Uruejoma-Watkins, NAF – Seeds of the Diaspora Award Recipient, Florentine West, Winnie Tang, and others.
The Housing Task Force is one of twelve task forces that is headed by healthcare executives: Jennifer Leslie, President of the Advisory Board; Dr. Norman Whyte, Vice President; and Dr. Katherine Ntekim.
