On March 10, 2017, the Florida Senate District 38 Health Task Force held a meet and greet and official launch, at the Marjorie & William McDonald Center in North Miami Beach. The goal of the launch was to roll out the initiatives of the new Health Task Force created by Senator Daphne Campbell and her Citizen Advisory Board. The launch was a huge success.

Mercedes Alvarez presented a “Drug-Free World” presentation to the entire health task force team and guests, including Chair Jennifer Leslie, Co-Chair Dr. Katherine Ntekim, as well as, President of the Citizen Advisory Board, Hudson Robillard. The presentation was welcomed with great enthusiasm.

This classy guest, Chrystelle Jean, seems to know how to mix business with pleasure. At the end of our Health Task Force Launch, she was poised with elegance to show off her yellow rose.

At the launch, Citizen Advisory Board Member, Cliff Bauer, and Reverend Massimo Parrino, had a lengthy discussion about healthcare and the community.
